It was a slight doubt about a particular girl whether she was dating someone or not that was eureka moment indeed for Mark Zuckerberg in ‘The Social Network’.

Mr. Zuckerberg realized how important it is for an individual to reveal about his relationship status in his profile.

Unfortunately, Simon Cowell hasn’t realized this potent fact yet and therefore has to deal with all sorts of speculation regarding his colleague, Paula Abdul.

But one of his recent statements has particularly raised a storm in the glitzy fraternity.

Simon in one of recent interviews exclaimed that he considered bedding his buddy of nine years at one point of time.

The idea had to be aborted soon when he gave a thought to the consequences of his unintentional action.

Now I guess the chain of events in this case is more interesting to watch than even the show itself.

Mr. Cowell further spilled the beans that ever since on X Factor there was virtual fracas between the two so much so that they couldn’t stand each other’s company for the first two seasons.

What he termed as the ‘sexual tension’ on part of Ms. Abdul eventually led to a soft corner in either one’s heart.

All those equations were quite evident even on the show and one can easily relive through all of that by hopping on to the online train.

By the way, Cowell is still engaged to fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy and is known to be on friendly terms with his ex- girlfriends too.

Though the duo of Cowell and Paula has regularly refuted claims that they are dating each other, one wonders what does this proclamation amounts to!

Simon is ready to launch his new X Factor USA and in style too! Simon had a premier of his new reality TV series in Hollywood’s Cinerama Dome. This show is already a hit worldwide and has many takers in several countries.

And as for its inception in USA, plan is to go big, really big! A lot of money is involved in this series; Fox is putting in millions of dollars per episode, and advertisers are paying thousands of dollars for a 30 second slot.

And this time, even the prize money for the winner is a grand, $5 million! Man! That’s the highest in the history of TV!

Simon is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring the success of his show, so much so that he has even started criticizing American Idol, forgetting that it gave him all the recognition and above all, the idea of X Factor!

Moreover, he has a legal tiff going with American Idol producer Simon Fuller over co-production issues. Simon Fuller tried his level best to stop Cowell from launching X Factor USA, and failing that, he now wants to get the executive producer’s title.

But Cowell is not at all ready to share anything with Fuller, and the case is due in court. Meanwhile, both parties are trying hard to achieve their goals.

There’s some bad news for the UK audiences, of the popular music reality show X Factor.

Simon Cowell, the most dreaded yet the most loved judge of the show is quitting the judges’ panel.

Oh no!

The UK TV series of X Factor was launched by Cowell’s production house, Syco, about seven years ago.

The format of the show is on the same lines as ‘Pop Idol’. There are rigorous auditions in major cities of Great Britain, to find the freshest singing talent and give them a platform to showcase their capabilities.

The judges’ role is very significant, as they are the ones who critique the singing of the contestants and hence, aid in polishing their talents.

Simon has been an integral part of X Factor since its very inception. He has been voted the tenth most terrifying celeb on television, in a poll that was conducted in 2006.

You know some slander is on your way, when Simon starts his monologue with the words, “I don’t mean to be rude, but…”

With every passing season of the music talent hunt show, Simon’s popularity and bank balance have been growing with the speed of light. He has made appearances as a judge in various music reality shows such as ‘American Idol’ and ‘America’s Got Talent’.

Simon and his production company Syco have signed contracts with many of the X factor winners and made celebrities out of common people. This is the reason why Simon remains the judge, who the contestants dream of impressing the most!

The reason for Simon’s quitting the main stage of X Factor UK is because he has signed a contract to launch X Factor in the USA. The show will be broadcast on Fox television network in America.

Since both the UK and the US versions of the show will be airing at approximately the same time, which is later this year, it will be difficult for Simon to manage both the shows.

However, the broadcasters of UK’s X Factor ITV won’t disappoint their audiences and promise that Cowell will have prominent role on the show, but backstage.
